Gustavo Cabral scored a goal to grant the classification to Pachuca

The defender scored a penalty in the defeat of the Tuzos against América 4-2, but they managed to advance on the away goal.

Despite of losing 4 to 2 in the second leg at the Azteca Stadium against América, Pachuca managed to advance to the Liga MX semifinal by the away goal and Gustavo Cabral was key to qualifying.

The Argentine defender, the flagship of the team, scored a penalty goal 23 minutes into the game to put the score 2-3.

The overall result ended 5 to 5, but the Tuzos achieved the classification due to the two goals they achieved in yesterday’s game.

For the next step, Pachuca will play in the semifinals against Cruz Azul, which finished as the leader in the first phase of the tournament.
