Enzo Pérez recognized at the River Museum

The midfielder was honored for his performance as a goalkeeper against Independiente de Santa Fe when the team had no players available due to COVID-19.

With the presence of leaders, his family and friends, Enzo Pérez was honored at the Club Atlético River Plate Museum for his performance as a goalkeeper against Independiente de Santa Fe in the Copa Libertadores match, on May 19 of this year.

At the event, a painting was unveiled that was exhibited in the hall of the historic establishment. In it is one of the gloves signed by the midfielder, a photo of him in the match with the list of all the goalkeepers of the Marcelo Gallardo era and the historical phrase of the talk between Mendoza and the DT that was recorded in the memory of the fans: “I´ll be the goalkeaper, Marcelo.”

In addition, the green archer hoodie that he used with the number 24 on his back and his other glove were also kept in a special place in the museum.
