Enzo Pérez and Jose Paradela were crowned champions again in 2021 with the River Plate shirt. This time it was for the local tournament after beating Racing 4-0 at the Monumental stadium.
The team coached by Marcelo Gallardo was crowned three dates before the end of the season after a win against the Academia, thanks to goals from Agustín Palavecino, Julián Álvarez and Braian Romero on two occasions.
It is worth mentioning that Paradela was on the substitutes’ bench (he did not enter) and Pérez was not part of the team as he is recovering from the injury he suffered in the previous match against Platense in his left shoulder.
With this title, the midfielder, who scored two goals in the championship (Aldosivi and Sarmiento de Junín), reached 7 titles with the band. Meanwhile, Paradela, who joined Millonario this year, has won 2 tournaments.
